How do children react to the Mini Balance Board in everyday life?
The children repeatedly reach for the balance board on their own. They're curious, try it out, and quickly get the hang of it. During playful practice at daycare, they support each other – and have a lot of fun.
What developments do you observe – motor, social or cognitive?
By helping each other while playing, children also strengthen their social skills. At the same time, their balance is improved – they move more confidently, more coordinated, and with more self-confidence.
From what age do you start using the board – and in which groups do you particularly like it?
In our daycare, we use the balance board starting in the toddler group—from about 2 years old. Children usually start to really enjoy it around 3 years old, when their motor skills are more confident. The board is especially popular with older children in the pre-kindergarten and after-school programs.
This makes the board a versatile training device for different age groups – from the first balance exercises to creative movement games.

What does the support team particularly appreciate about the board in everyday group life?
The balance board can be easily and flexibly integrated into everyday daycare life – it takes up hardly any space and is ready for use at any time.
Especially in moments of anxiety, it helps children regain focus and calm down. Through movement, they find balance – physically and emotionally.
Do you also recommend the Mini Balance Board for home use?
Yes, definitely – especially for the children’s room.
It's important that children are supervised at the beginning so they can learn how to use the board safely and balance at their own pace. Afterward, they can easily use it independently.
Motor skills, concentration, body awareness and balance are also promoted in a playful way at home.
How does the board support your attitude towards movement and free play?
At our daycare, movement and free play are central to our educational approach. The children have opportunities to move throughout the day: through singing and movement in the morning circle, daily outdoor activities, or in the "bounce room." We place great emphasis on maintaining a good balance between active phases and moments of rest.

Does the board also fit in modern family apartments with limited space?
Absolutely. The board takes up hardly any space and can be easily stored – for example, in the included cotton bag or on the matching stand.
