5 YEARS OF MECOS BOARDS – SWISS MADE BALANCE BOARDS

Five years ago, it all started with a simple idea: to combine movement and craftsmanship. Today, MECOS BOARDS stands for Swiss design, honest craftsmanship, and high-quality balance trainers – developed and manufactured in Switzerland.

Over the past five years, we have manufactured over 1,200 balance boards in our Swiss factory – each one with the highest precision and attention to detail.

From idea to balance experience

The name MECOS BOARDS stands for more than just a brand: It combines the founders' initials and the word ECO, which represents our values – naturalness, sustainability, and honest craftsmanship. This is how MECOS BOARDS came about – a name that reflects what we stand for: movement in harmony with nature, design, and passion.

We wanted to create balance trainers that can do more than just look good – products that inspire people to get moving: playful, versatile and durable.

The result is a range of unique balance trainers that clearly stand out from the competition – with new shapes, innovative constructions, expanded areas of application and a broader target group ranging from children to athletes.

This idea gave rise to MECOS BOARDS: handcrafted balance trainers made from high-quality wood, built for everyone who loves balance.

Today, numerous partners in Switzerland and abroad rely on our balance boards – from physiotherapy practices and sports centers to schools, kindergartens, and offices. They are used in retail, e-commerce shops, at trade fairs, sports facilities, and surfing events, and are partnered with the Swiss Surfing Federation – united by the same passion for movement, flow, and the surfy lifestyle of MECOS BOARDS.
